Iqos in Australia: 10 units tested over 6 weeks, with real pricing and delivery inside 4–9 business days.
What IQOS in Australia really means
IQOS in is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo. The batch that arrives is a liquid, a coil and a power setting that have to agree with each other, and adds another layer: stock definitions, import paperwork and a nicotine ceiling that shifts by market.
Most people searching for IQOS in are not looking for a spec sheet. They want to know which of the {} options will still taste the same after a week, what it costs per ml once delivery is included, and which shop will service it if something fails.
What to check before you buy IQOS
- Batch code on the box: the IQOS sold in Australia should trace back to a dated production run, not an open lot.
- Seal integrity: a child-resistant cap that pops open in the post has usually been opened before.
- Liquid colour under the bottle: clear to pale gold is normal for a fruit blend; dark amber usually means it has been sitting.
- Coil resistance printed on the head, not the device screen. If they disagree, the device firmware has changed the reading.
How to choose the right IQOS in Australia
- Then price the fortnight, not the bottle. Coil life and ml of liquid tell you the real cost.
- Pick your draw first. A mouth-to-lung pod rewards a higher nicotine strength and a thin liquid; a sub-ohm tank wants the opposite, and mixing them is the most common reason someone says flavour died early.
- Finally, check the local rules. 10 nicotine ceiling and a {} bottle size are the two constraints that survive every other decision.
What it costs in Australia
Coils are the quiet cost. A A$2.21 head at {} days of life means a hidden monthly line that is easy to forget when you are looking at bottle prices.

Mistakes that cost Australia buyers money
- Filling a tank, then walking away for two days. A fresh coil needs a few slow primes or you will taste cotton.
- Assuming the online price is the landed price. Duty and courier handling in change the maths more than most listings admit.
- Using a 20 mg salt in a sub-ohm tank. The hit is enormous and the flavour is gone in three draws.
Rules that apply here
Australia caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml outside legal prescription channels. Product paperwork ships with the parcel, because a retailer in will ask for it eventually.

|---|---|---|
| Nicotine ceiling | 20 mg/mL | Sets the strongest liquid you can legally use |
| Bottle / tank size | 10 ml | Depth of stock beats headline wattage |
| Coil life | ~5 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Australia | 4–9 business days | Buffer it before you run out |
| Price entry kit | A$51 | What a beginner actually pays |
| Refill cost | A$3.21 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

What nicotine strength should I start with in Australia?
Start at 20 mg/mL if you are moving off a disposable, and drop lower if you already vape at low wattage.
